Premier's Respect Awards
This year, The Premier Dominic Perrottet has established the Innaugural NSW Government Respect Awards. The key characteristics of this award is about
- Respectful behaviour
- Inclusiveness
- Community-mindedness
Of course different schools all over NSW will have different ideas about what respect means for their community, but in general the award is given to the most respectful student in the community who displays:
- Generosity
- Courtesy
- Fairness
- Caring attitude
- Inclusiveness
Last Friday, The Inaugural Premier's Respect Awards, took place with a ceremony at the AUstralian Museum.
It with great pleasure that we announcement Hari Saravanan was the successful applicant from St Francis Catholic College. Hari was one of ten selected students from 3100 Catholic, Independent, and Public schools in the state. Hari was put forward in a pool of 100 students to be selected to form the first group of 10 recipients to be showcased in front of the Premier of NSW Dominic Perrottet and the honorable Sarah Ann Mitchell Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning. We congratulate Hari and thank him for the way he embraces our college and is an exampler of our touchstones.
