Year 4 Excursion
On Friday 4th November, Kindergarten visited Calmsley Hill Farm. They had a fabulous time looking at the animals, milking a cow, going on a bumpy tractor ride, petting their furry friends in the nursery and watching a number of shows, including, whip cracking and sheep shearing. We had lots of keen little farmers on the day! Please see below for some of their experiences:
- On Friday I went to a farm. Firstly I saw a brown donkey. Next it was our turn to go on the red tractor. After that we went to see some baby animals. Then we had Break 1. - Scarlett F. (KB)
- I loved going on the tractor because it was bumpy and we saw bulls. I know that bulls are male cows. We also milked a cow, it felt squishy! - Chris A (KG)"
- We got to ride a tractor and I liked seeing a lot of animals. Miss Meli was able to crack the whip on her first try! - Hope (KR)
