It is with great excitement we announce that ALL three of our Year 7 and Year 8 Debating Teams have placed in their zone and have made it to the Quarter-Finals. This is a huge achievement for all the students involved. 

At St Francis, the key attributes of a successful Middle Years Learner include critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creative thinking and self management. Debating involves using all these key attributes and students continue to develop these skills and apply these skills to new situations. This sets students up for many other areas of school life and also moving forward into the real world!
