We are experiencing increased visits from Liverpool Council Rangers. Recently they met with me to warn us that they will be issuing fines for parents who park too close to the pedestrian crossing on Poziers Road. Additionally they wish to advise of the following significant issues:

1) It is illegal to park on the nature strip or on top of the curb (particularly relevant for those who park on the narrow Guillemont Road)

2) It is illegal to park near or opposite double lines

3) It is illegal to park on the opposite side of the street facing oncoming traffic or on the end of a T intersection. 

The Ranger informed me that each instance of the above carries a $300 traffic infringement fine and possibly 2 demerit points off your license.  

Please hear this genuine and timely warning and obey the traffic rules. Rangers will be patrolling daily and we do not want to see parents receiving fines.
