Throughout Semester 1, Year 7 worked extremely well in Material Technologies: Timber to create some outstanding timber acoustic speakers. 

This unit of work involved students designing, producing, and evaluating their own design using timber technologies to meet a design situation/brief provided by the school.

They have been learning about a range of methods to communicate designs, including CAD on Adobe Illustrator to develop their own designs and laser cut this onto their own works. Students have demonstrated their skills in areas such as marking, cutting, joining, and finishing skills. 

The students of 7TECR, 7TECY, and 7TECW have worked incredibly well and we are so proud of these students.
