Last friday year 1 went one an excursion by bus to the school house museum in North Ryde. We went to learn about school life in the past. 

Secondly when we arrived we got off the bus and we ate our lunch. Next we went to a classroom and wrote not normal writing but running writing, it was called cursive. Next we went to an even bigger room and we cooked toast by the fireplace and did some activities that included puzzles, treasure hunt and making a photocopy using jelly ink. 

We also played some games with hoops, skipping rope and ring toss. After that we went on the bus and straight back to school 

First we went on the bus from school to our excursion. Then we had lunch and after that we did some activities from the past. We did animal stamps, then we toasted some bread. Suddenly we had dumbbells for maypole dancing, then we played quoits. After that we went to the oldest classroom, then we did cursive writing with ink. Finally we went back on the bus to go back to school
