Message from Mr Abernethy
Dear Parents & Friends,
Preparations for next year are in full swing and this week we welcomed many new families to the College as we presented our ‘Orientation for New Families Years 5-12’. Kindergarten families will be welcomed next Tuesday evening. New staff will have the first of two orientation sessions on Wednesday next week. The College will continue to grow and for the 2022 academic year we will have a student population that exceeds 1250 students and a staff of approx. 120.
COVID restrictions have presented a number of challenges for the orientation for our new enrolments but we have tried to be innovative here. This has benefits for all. Our College website now has a 3D Virtual Tour that allows you to walk through our new facilities in a virtual way. This would be a great way for parents to check out the new buildings as you are not permitted to visit our site at the moment.
My thanks to Jaidon A (Year 9) & James K (Year 10) for representing the College at the Remembrance Day ceremony presented by Ingleburn RSL Sub Branch. Jaidon & James were outstanding representatives and took time to meet veterans & current serving defence force personnel. They also met with Anoulack Chanthivong, State Member for Macquarie Fields. RSL staff were so impressed with the boys, they presented them with a book on the Vietnam War for the College library. Well done Jaidon & James!

I hope you continue to receive God’s blessing.
