In week 10 of Term 2, Year 1 had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Year 11 Woodwork and Construction class run by Mr Suters. Students were learning about the habitat of different animals in our backyard and were posed with the question 'What would happen if all the trees were cut down in a forest?'
After discussion and research it was decided that bird boxes would be the answer. Year 1 were so excited to be able to go into the woodwork rooms where the 'big kids' learn and with the help of the Year 11 students they built amazing bird boxes.
