Kinder, Year 1, Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6 recently finished up their Challenging Maths Tasks journey in Week 3. Watch this space in the next newsletter to see some of the wonderful thinking from these young Mathematicians. We can’t give too much away yet as Year 3 and Year 5 have finished their NAPLAN testing and just begun their Challenging Maths Tasks! In the meantime, here is a Mathematical task to complete at home with your family:
Cadbury have given you the job of designing their next chocolate box for Father’s Day in September. The box needs to fit 48 chocolates. It can be one or two layers high. How many ways could you arrange the chocolates in the box?
