Year 7 student, Jamie S, travelled to the Tamworth Country Music Festival over the school break to perform as a busker for the first time.

More than 400 buskers were registered to perform over the 10 day long festival period.

12 year old Jamie was the youngest busker to be selected as a top 10 finalist in the Toyota Best of the Buskers Championships held on Tamworth's main stage at Toyota Park.

Jamie was also a finalist in the Coca Cola Battle of the Young Stars talent quest held at Tamworth's Town Hall.
