A warm day welcomed students for the Diocesan Secondary Athletics Championships on Friday 16th August.  

A great effort was made by our 2019 representatives: 

Aimey A, Ama A, Ashton A, Fadi A, Makaela A, Sebastian B, Michael F, Bella G, Barrie H, Maya J, Aydan K, Dominik K, Isabella K, Oliver K, Christopher M, Jessica M, Adalina N, Hayden P, Twixy Q, Jennifer S, Felissety T, Marie-Desiree T & Nathan V.

Well done to the following students who finished in the top 3 in one or more of their events:

Ama A - 12yrs 200m (3rd)

Michael F - 14yrs 1500m (1st), 14yrs 800m (1st), 14yrs 400m (1st), 14yrs 200m (1st) and 14yrs 100m (2nd)

Bella G - 14yrs 800m (3rd)

A special congratulations to Michael F who was runner up age champion in the 14yr boys and broke the Diocesan records in the 1500m and 800m events, one of which had stood since the 1990's.  Michael will now represent the Wollongong Diocese at NSWCCC Athletics on Friday 20th September. We wish Michael all the best at this next level!
