Last Thursday we celebrated the Feast of Saint Mary of the Cross, Mary Mackillop, Australia's first saint. K-4 students came together to celebrate with a liturgy and 5-9 students held a prayer service during Pastoral Class.  

Mary Mackillop was an ordinary Australian. She was
 a woman who responded with courage and love to bring the Good News to the poor. One of her well-known sayings is, “Let love guide you in all your life.”  Mary Mackillop showed God’s love to others through her actions.

With love in our hearts, we too, can be like Mary Mackillop, called to be the face of God through our words and our actions.
