On Monday, the 1st of July, the College Hall came alive with colour, music, and joy as our Kindergarten students celebrated Cultural Sharing Day. This special event was the culmination of our learning in History, where students have been exploring the rich traditions, foods, and celebrations from cultures around the world.

Our Kindergarten students proudly took to the stage to perform two delightful cultural items they had been practising in class. Their enthusiasm and confidence shone brightly, and both performances were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Families were then invited to join their children for a multicultural morning tea. A wonderful selection of food from a range of cultural backgrounds was shared picnic-style across long tables, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. It was beautiful to see children engaging with different flavours and proudly talking about the food from their own culture.

To finish the event, students gathered in their classrooms for a short reflection where they shared something about their own culture. These thoughtful responses showed just how meaningful the experience was for our young learners.

We would like to thank our families for their incredible support, generosity, and participation. Cultural Sharing Day was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the uniqueness each family brings to our Kindergarten.
