On Friday the 28th of February 15 students participated in the Diocesan Girls Touch Football Championship at Thomas Dalton Park, Fairy Meadow. This was the first time in our College's history that we have fielded a team at the Diocesan Touch Football Championship.

It was a sunny day down south for a big day of Touch Football - 10 games played by each team across the day. There was athleticism, physical fitness and ball skills on display, with touch football being a very strategic, tactical and physically demanding sport due to the speed it is played at. SFCC students represented the College with immense pride, displaying a willingness to learn the craft and nuances of the sport and as a result they showed much improvement throughout the day. The girls displayed integrity and fair play with the way that they participated and treated the opposition and referees.

A special mention to Christian P (Year 12 - Leader of Sport) for attending and refereeing on the day. Also, a big special mention to the nine Year 12 students for their participation in one of their final Diocesan sport representations for the College.
