Bible Prayer Group

The Bible Prayer Group is up and running and performing well in our mission to share the Gospel message at St Francis Catholic College. We would like to specifically highlight that it is accessible to every single student, no matter their religious background. This group is hosted every Thursday, break 2 in the library (room 2), and is led by the Youth Engagement Leaders with the guidance of teachers. Our mission is to share the good Word of God, help others become more devoted to Jesus, and to support everyone on their journey of faith. Recognizing Jesus' identity, we spread the Gospel to transform this school into a haven of safety and love. For example, two weeks ago Michael and Jayden shared about the importance of understanding and avoiding being a 'lukewarm' Christian. As a result, the audience learned how to develop their actions to become a practising follower of Jesus and strengthen their relationship with God. Everyone is encouraged to join us every week to learn more about Christianity as expressed so meaningfully in Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another". We look forward to continuing this initiative into 2025. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.
