Youth Engagement Leaders, Mischa R, Alansa S & Rachita G, were invited to the Emmaus Centre in Campbelltown to represent St Francis Catholic College in a Youth Leadership Cluster with Magdalene Catholic College to be formed in Eucharistic Leadership following the examples of Dorothy Day and Bl. Carlo Acutis. Here's what the students had to say about the day:

"On the 1st of August, the Youth Engagement Leaders participated in a Catholic Student Leadership Cluster Day, where we were able to explore what it means to be a Eucharist Leader, what values a Saint of Macarthur resembles, and the role leaders play in helping strengthen the community and environment. The day first started with an icebreaker with other Youth Engagement Leaders from Magdalene Catholic College. These discussions allowed us to gain insightful ideas to apply to SFCC and improve our school’s overall spiritual well-being and community. Subsequently, each of us delivered the proposals we made within our respective small groups to the wider audience. By engaging in this process, we not only gained valuable perspectives but also honed our communication skills and fostered robust relationships with other school communities. Later that day, the discussion centred on the environment and the crucial role that we, as humans, play in preserving nature for future generations. Ultimately, this cluster day was an exciting opportunity for us leaders to converse with each other and learn more about what it means to be a leader."
