News from our CAPA Team

It has been a huge term for CAPA thus far.
All of our extracurricular groups are in full swing and have been working on exciting projects. Our DJ çlub recently provided tunes for our 7-12 Athletics Carnival that really boosted the atmosphere and excitement, Media clubs have photographed numerous events already including the carnival, mass, assemblies and Pirate day, our Dance club is busily preparing for their first performance and Jam club has proved so popular we have had to create TWO groups to accommodate all our keen musicians.
We are also HUGELY excited to welcome back SFCC's Got Talent, one of the premier events of the College year. We have been busily promoting our auditions and have already seen some brilliant artists offer up auditions. Please remember that auditions close on the 15th of June.

I also wanted to take a moment to congratulate two of our amazing young performers on their recent successes. Jamie S (Year 11) recently opened for Shannon Noll at his 'That's What I'm Talking About' 20th Anniversary Tour 2024, Sydney Coliseum Theatre. He is also named as a Semi-Finalist in the 'Gympie Music Muster's Mothertone 2024 Talent Search' in Gympie, North Queensland and performs in August this year. We wish Jamie the best of luck. Another of our incredible performers Sienna M in Year 11 also recently performed at the Ultimate Mic Battle in Smithfield and was awarded 1st and 3rd place in various categories. We are so proud of Sienna who had recently amazed us alll at her Assembly performance.
