Secondary Diocesan Cross Country Carnival Report
On Monday the 27th of May students from across the Diocese of Wollongong, particularly those from the Macarthur-based schools braved the early and cold morning start to journey down to the beautiful cross-country course located at Willandra, Nowra.
The weather made for a picturesque landscape and great running conditions. St. Francis had a larger contingent of competitors than previous years, having athletes participating in boys and girls events from 12 years to 17 years. Each student ran the course with determination and demonstrated perseverance particularly when challenged by some grueling hills located at various spots on their respective courses. The student's behaviour was exemplary and made the College and their families proud.
