On Wednesday 28th of February Year 12 Advanced English students, accompanied by their teachers Ms. Moore and Ms. Beslic, attended a seminar that directly linked to their current HSC study; Module A, Textual Conversations. Alongside other NSW schools, students were part of a seminar that featured Bell Shakespeare artists in conversation with leading Academics from the University of Sydney. Students witnessed key scenes that were masterfully performed by players from Bell Shakespeare that demonstrated ideas presented in the play, King Richard III whilst also linking to the Docodrama, 'Looking for Richard'. The seminar combined live performances, academic analysis, and illuminating dramatic insights into the play and film. 

St Francis students showcased exemplary behaviour and were willing to engage with Bell Shakespeare and the academic community present, asking the majority of questions in the Q&A section of the performance. 

We are once again proud of our students and even more excited for the great work to come from an experience like this.
